Hello everyone! This is my first Photoshop tutorial. I am showing you how to remove watermarks in a few different types of captured GIF scenes. These are the methods that I have used in my gifsets.
Important: DO NOT use this to remove watermarks on other people’s works
1) Simple background; minimal camera motion
2) Moderate camera motion; relatively isolated foreground
Ok, so here’s a simple/basic tutorial on giffing dark scenes, nothing fancy. For this, Levels, Brightness, Exposure layers will be your best friend (all before coloring your gif). This may not work every time, since every scene is different, and not all steps have to be used, but just using the basics should help I hope. Let’s get started.
Hi um I used your cutting out the background from an image tutorial and it's not really working out for me because the persons hair is kind of all over the place. How do I get rid of the background without making her hair look horrid?
Hi! So, I’ve only ever talked about this once which was in my pastel hair tutorial, but it’s definitely worthy of its own tutorial. We’ll make it a mini-tutorial, though. And of course, it’s under the cut. (:
The question people ask me the most on here besides “are you dead” is how to make gifs and how to make them look good. So I finally decided to make a tutorial how to go from this: (I know this tutorial is pretty long and I apologize for that, I just wanted to make a tutorial everyone can understand because when I was a beginner I always wished for more detailed tutorials on this topic.)
